John brings extensive expertise in energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and market design, with deep experience across European electricity systems, balancing markets, and policy evolution around large-scale storage (BESS) and flexibility assets. His insights will be instrumental as Quantum Optima accelerates its roadmap across:
- multi-market optimisation for BESS portfolios,
- integration with EU-wide regulatory structures,
- compliance-ready, transparent algorithmic decision-making, and
- strategic positioning in upcoming tenders, grant mechanisms and cross-border opportunities.
John will work closely with our founders and technical team to ensure that Quantum Optima’s hybrid classical–quantum optimisation engine is fully aligned with real-world market needs and future regulatory trajectories.
