Building Europe’s Quantum-Ready Optimisation Infrastructure

Quantum Optima develops next-generation optimisation and decision-intelligence platforms for complex energy and operational systems.

Our initial focus is the European energy sector, where Battery Energy Storage Systems, renewable portfolios, aggregators and energy traders face rapidly increasing complexity across day-ahead, intraday and balancing markets.

Our platform combines advanced optimisation, market intelligence and quantum-ready architectures to support faster, more transparent and more profitable operational decisions.

Why Now

Europe’s energy transition is creating a new class of optimisation problems.

Battery assets, renewable portfolios and virtual power plants must operate across volatile prices, changing regulations, grid constraints and multiple market layers. Manual decision-making and static tools are no longer sufficient.

Quantum Optima is building software infrastructure for this new environment.

Where We Stand Today

Pilot-ready optimisation platform

Our core optimisation engine has been developed and tested on real European electricity-market data, including HEnEx and ENTSO-E structures. The platform is progressing from prototype validation toward pilot-scale deployment with market participants.

Market-intelligence layer

We have developed Q Energy Intelligence, a live energy-market intelligence layer that visualises price curves, spreads, load, generation and market signals relevant to BESS and renewable portfolio optimisation.

Institutional support

Quantum Optima is supported by the Athens Chamber of Commerce startup incubator, providing mentoring, visibility and ecosystem access as we move from technical development toward commercial pilots.

Early commercial validation

The company has completed early paid validation work in renewable-energy and BESS investment analysis and is advancing discussions with energy-market stakeholders for pilot use cases.

Quantum Optima is designed to operate today with classical optimisation while preparing for future quantum and quantum-inspired acceleration where it becomes commercially useful.
